Melissani Lake is a Cenote like body of water that was discovered on the island of Kefalonia, Greece when its rock roof caved in.  It is crystal clear water close to 60 feet deep, where the bottom can be viewed from the surface as if is was within arm's reach.  Part of it is a cavern that still remains and can be toured by small boats.
